Two Languages for Understanding the Universe

When humans seek to understand the universe,

different approaches emerge.

Among them,

two of the most fundamental are:

philosophy

and religion.

Philosophy, through reflection and reasoning,

attempts to understand existence.

Religion, through belief and symbolism,

describes the order of the universe.

The methods differ,

but the questions are the same:

How does the world exist?

What is the meaning of life?

Thus, philosophy and religion

can be seen as

two languages

for understanding the universe.

萬物同在 各循其序

All things coexist, each following its own order
