Chapter 4 — Who Assumes the Sacred Role
神聖由眾生擔任
The Sacred Role Is Assumed by Beings
If the sacred is a function,
then a question naturally arises:
Who assumes these roles?
Within the structure of the universe,
those who take on these responsibilities
are not a fixed race.
Those who assume these roles
are beings.
When an entity
possesses both capability and responsibility,
it may take on
a greater role.
Therefore,
the sacred is not something
innately given.
The sacred is a function,
and those who assume this function
are beings.
In human civilization,
the sacred is often regarded
as something beyond life.
However, from another perspective,
what the sacred represents is:
certain forms of life
taking on the responsibility
of maintaining order.
Thus, it can be said:
The sacred is not a fixed existence,
but a function assumed by beings.
The sacred
is assumed by beings.
萬物同在 各循其序
All things coexist, each following its own order
